ASCPA Announces Addition to CPE Staff

MONTGOMERY—May 16, 2008—The Alabama Society of CPAs is proud to announce the addition of Jennifer M. Oleksa to their Continuing Professional Education staff. Oleksa will work closely with instructors and facilities as the ASCPA expands its professional development seminars, webcasts and online studies.

“The ASCPA is pleased to have Jennifer join our Continuing Professional Education staff,” said Jeannine P. Birmingham, ASCPA president and chief executive officer. “Her experience and education in the event management industry is a valued addition as we extend our professional development programs to better meet the needs of Alabama CPAs.” 

Oleksa is a graduate of Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., and received a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Auburn Montgomery. Oleksa is currently pursuing a master’s in business administration at AUM. The Georgia native brings extensive experience from previous positions at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing, Alabama and the Montgomery Biscuits baseball team.

The Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants is a statewide organization working on behalf of over 6,400 members to promote the professional interest of the Alabama CPA.
