Policies and Procedures

The ASCPA policies and procedures have been developed for the benefit of all CPE participants.

ASCPA Member Discounts
Members of the ASCPA or any other State Society may register at the member discount fee. Non-CPAs with intent (sitting for the exam) may join the Society as an associate member for a fee of $35 and be eligible for the member discount fee. All non-members must pay the full registration fee.

AICPA Member Discounts
AICPA members registering for an AICPA seminar are eligible for a $30 discount. This discount may be used in conjunction with the ASCPA membership discount of $50. AICPA classes that are eligible for the $30 discount will be noted in the course fee section.

Cancellations & Refunds
If you must cancel during the ten (10) days prior to a course, there will be no refund. However, you may name a replacement attendee by phoning the CPE department. At any time prior to 10 days out from a course, a refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee, will be made upon request. The CPE department can be reached at 1-800-227-1711 or (334) 834-7650.

Late Registration Fee
Any registration received within ten (10) calendar days of a course will incur a late fee of $25.00

Transfers & Substitutions
Transfers of a participant from one course to another are available with a $20 transfer fee up to eleven (11) days prior to the original course. Substitutions of participants are available with a $20.00 substitution fee at any time.

Registration Requirements
All registrations must be made online or in writing and accompanied by full payment before a place will be held in the course. Registrations cannot be accepted over the phone. If you are paying by credit card and prefer to fax your registration, fax to (334) 834-7310. If paying by check, please mail your registration to the ASCPA, PO Box 5000, Montgomery, AL 36103-5000.

General Course Information
Materials and books are provided only for those attending each ASCPA group seminar. Course evaluation forms are provided following each seminar. The ASCPA welcomes your comments and reviews all responses so that we may continue to provide quality courses and speakers in an enjoyable atmosphere.
