The Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants is the professional association for CPAs in Alabama. For students and career-starters, we’re here to help you any way we can on your journey toward becoming a CPA and establishing yourself in the profession. ASCPA has two special membership classifications for soon-to-be CPAs.
Student Membership - Yearly dues $15
Available to college students who have completed introductory accounting courses at an accredited college or university.
Associate Membership - Yearly dues $35
Available if you have completed school but haven’t yet taken the CPA exam.

The ASCPA Magazine is published 10 times a year and provides articles and updates on issues affecting the CPA profession. ASCPA’s e-newsletter is geared specifically toward college students and emerging professionals. The latest information on preparing for the CPA exam (and resources to help), tips for job hunting, resume writing and advancing your career and highlights from society events across the state is delivered to your inbox once a quarter.

Our Young CPAs are very involved in the community.
