Peer Review

The Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy requires firms who perform services such as audits, reviews or compilations to complete a practice review initially within 18 months of a firm's first issued report, then once every three years in order to maintain their license to practice public accounting.The AICPA also requires members who perform such services in a firm to enroll in an approved practice-monitoring program such as the Peer Review Program.  

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Peer Review Integrated Management Application (PRIMA), an online, interactive system that replaces PRISM. You can access PRIMA via Access links are also available on the Peer Review Home page and the For Peer Reviewers web page

We developed a Getting Started document that highlights tasks such as creating an account, password recovery and updating contact information.

We encourage you to use PRIMA’s Knowledge Base help feature to become familiar with the system. To access the Knowledge Base, sign in to PRIMA and click Help in the upper right-hand corner. Peer Review Hotline hours have been expanded to 8am–8pm ET (919.402.4502, option 2) and we will have additional staff available to answer your questions.
