Join the East Alabama Chapter for our last luncheon of 2019. David Green will be our speaker and will be discussing opportunity zones.

David is a 2002 and 2004 graduate of Auburn University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Finance andMaster’s in Accounting.David started his career with the Birmingham office of Ernst and Young.Several years later when the opportunity arose to work at a land development company in South Florida, David accepted the challenge, and served as the controller at Priority Developers.Priority suffered the fate of many over-leveraged real estate firms during the 2008 Great Recession, which propelled David into a new chapter of entrepreneurship.Relocating to Atlanta, David and a former Priority employee, founded a real estate consulting firm that eventually served as an outsourced due diligence team for several NY based private equity funds.During these consulting assignments, relationships were formed with dozens of bankers across the U.S. that opened the door for David and Carl to spin off an appraisal management company, MountainSeed Appraisal Management.After almost a decade of growth, MountainSeed proudly serves over 400 community and regional banks in all 50 states.In 2018, after accomplishing many of the professional goals he set out to achieve, David was fortunate to participate in a partner buyout of his ownership stake at MountainSeed.Professionally, David spends his time sourcing and investing in real estate and also teaching business courses at Auburn University.David is passionate about coaching and mentoring college students and young professionals.Last summer, David, his wife Lindsay, and their three boys moved to Auburn.
